He always wanted to be a racecar driver but could not figure out how to make a career of it. He attended automotive mechanics school and then enlisted, catching the attention of his superiors with his extradordinary 20/05 vision. Rearick was tapped for reconnaissance, proving excellent at it. Upon the formation of [[NEST]], his superior only reluctantly allowed him to leave for NEST. Sergeant Recon is a human from the Dark of the Moon portion of the live-action film series continuity family.

Sergeant Recon, codename of Sergeant Travis Rearick, is a perfect partner for Roadbuster as his racing skills allow the Autobot to ease back, enjoy the ride and learn more about Earth's roads.
