"Spike" is one of Butch Witwicky's nicknames. He was one of Major Sparkplug's sons (who called him "Buster") and the two were estranged. His escapades would have hurt his career if his dad hadn't secretly used his influence to stop it. Years later, when he joined NEST, his dad transferred over to patch things up with him.Ask Vector Prime
