Wings Universe is based on the Generation 1 cartoon, but deviates from it in cosmetic ways and continuity points.
Red Star was part of the Squadron X campaign on Frellus IV, where he was tasked to guard the Squadron's ship, the Decimator, with Nullifier. While the other Squadron X members were distracted by the Hasmata, the Wreckers took out Red Star and Nullifer in the process of hijacking the Decimator. Tornado - Decepticon Saboteur
