Fiction

Regeneration One

Following Rodimus Prime's surrender, Jhiaxus had the Autobots locked up in the Corral while he attempted negotiations with their leader in the High Chamber. He offered to allow the Autobots that were still unmodified by any alien technology to join his Cybertronian Empire but when the Wreckers began striking vulnerable points along the Hub's "slam tube" network Jhiaxus ordered the execution of the Autobots Joyride, Sky High, Crosshairs and Brainstorm. He was about to order the executions of the Autobots in four more cages when Rodimus admitted that the Wreckers were operating dark and he couldn't call them off.

With Jhiaxus further distracted by attacks from the Ark/Shockwave and ultimately the Underbase-powered Starscream, Rodimus got the drop on his Cybertronian guards and returned to the Corral to free the rest of the Autobots. After taking down their captors, Ultra Magnus and Kup co-ordinated the evacuation from the Hub Network. The War to End All Wars, Part 4

Notes

  • The cages are named or numbered zo, qhi, apx, zsa, pha, ecu, asu and bry. It's unclear if these translate or are a reference to anything, but they sound cool.
