Fiction
Dreamwave Generation One continuity
Hardcase, along with Stormbringer and Pulse, were assigned by Starscream to meet two ships loaded with energon at the Moon Alpha spaceport. However, all three were slain by Grimlock and the Lightning Strike Coalition before Starscream and the energon arrived. To add insult to injury, Grimlock hurled Hardcase's severed head at Starscream. Fragmentation
Toys

- No toy of Hardcase was ever released. However, he is retroactively based on the unreleased MC-22 Beam Robo toy from the Micro Change line.
Notes
- Ask Vector Prime, as a part of the retconning of Stormbringer and Pulse to be the same characters as generics based on Diaclone and Micro Change toys that were not released under the Transformers banner, declared that Hardcase was based on MC-22 Beam Robo.
- Looking closely at the head, yeah, it passes the squint test.
