- Spin Road is an Autobot from the Operation Combination portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Spin Road (スピンロード Supin Rōdo) is the Autobot terrestrial branch assistant commander and the leader of the Road Corps. He uses his finely-tuned intuition to hunt his arch-enemy Dark Jet, who took the life of one of his close friends. His weapon of choice is his Spin Missile Launcher.
His propensity for spinning is questionable.

Operation Combination story pages
Spin Road and the Road Corps were the first Autobots deployed to stop the approach of Battle Gaia and the Jet Corps. Spin Road was finally afforded the opportunity to take vengeance upon his nemesis, Dark Jet, matching his Spin Missile Launcher against Dark Jet's Dark Missile Launcher. Unfortunately for Spin Road, the Decepticons defeated him and the Road Corps, then moved on to Earth's orbit and the last line of Autobots. The Road Army vs. the Jet Army! New Decepticons Appear!

- Spin Road’s toy is identical to the Turbomaster Flash, transforming into a modified Lamborghini Diablo. His vehicle mode features a huge rear-mounted engine, which is really a spring-loaded missile-launching cannon usable in both vehicle and robot modes. His rear panels/legs feature tabs to mount his extra missiles.
- He was sold in Japan only as part of a two-pack with Dark Jet.
