The mother-in-law decided to bring her sisters along for a visit.

The Firecons were sent to Earth to attempt to persuade Galvatron to form an alliance with the Decepticons on Cybertron. On Earth, they engaged in battle with the Sparkabots (referred to here as the Sparkler Mini-Bots), who had been sent to Earth by Springer to keep watch on Galvatron. Their battle was interrupted by Galvatron himself, who rejected the Firecons' offer. Enemy Action!

The Firecons returned to Cybertron afterward, where they forged an alliance with the alien Zabra to run illegal deathmatches in the old Jekka Amphitheatre. When Zabra was defeated by Ultra Magnus and the Sparkabots, the Firecons presumably returned to the Decepticons. Deadly Games!

The psycho, the idiot, and the nerd.

The Firecons acted as jailers for the Decepticons on Cybertron. They took great glee in putting down an Autobot attempt at rebellion, before sending three Autobots off across the space bridge to be used as test fodder. Ca$h and Car-nage!

The Firecons were sent to Earth by Decepticon High Command to incinerate every copy of the "anti-Decepticon" propaganda Transformers Annual 1989 not under Autobot protection. Transformers Annual 1989

With the mysterious deaths of three Decepticons, Sparkstalker and Cindersaur, along with the Triggercons Ruckus and Windsweeper, were sent to kill three Autobots for each Decepticon believed to have been slaughtered by them. During the attack, Sparkstalker got the best of Grimlock, knocking him down, while Cindersaur stood behind, waiting his turn. All were unaware of the real killers that stood behind them, watching. Demons!

The Firecons were still with the main Decepticon force after the epic battle with Unicron. During the invasion of Klo, Sparkstalker was reported to have been accidentally incinerated by Cindersaur. The Last Autobot?

Transformers in Action: Megatron's Ultimatum

Wings Universe

Cindersaur and the Firecons were among the first generation Decepticons sent back to Earth by Galvatron once he heard of the new faction of Decepticons that had formed there. Cindersaur joined up with Clench and the Decepticon Syndicate along with several others first gen warriors like Breakdown, Double Punch, and Slicer. In Switzerland, Clench and his Predacon general Sky-Byte were testing a new mutagen energon known as forestonite. After hearing of the potentially disastrous side-effects, This turned Flamefeather and the Syndicate into a brilliant canary yellow color scheme and Sparkstalker into red and purple and possibly stronger. Clench convinced the simple-minded Cindersaur to eat a canister of forestonite. Despite it not being meant to be taken orally (nom nom nom), Cindersaur survived the *urp* digestion and mutated into a massive tyrannosaur crackling with new-found energy. He tested his newly upgraded fire-breath against the Autobots until Rapido guided some shark-missiles into the hapless Firecon. Clench and his forces were defeated and the Firecons were captured by Autobot forces and Flamefeather was last seen leashed by Motormouth. Generation 2: Redux

Clench presented the three Firecons to Jhiaxus as a "bonus incentive". A Flash Forward, Part 2

Toys

Generation 1

Sparkstalker
Sold carded for $3 each (on average), the Firecons are extremely simple toys. Like their Autobot counterparts, the toys feature a friction-motor that causes "cold" sparks to shoot from a section of the toy's alternate mode (the mouth, in the case of the Firecons) as well as propelling the toy forward on smooth surfaces.
This set of molds was used to make the Decepticon Sparkdash drones from Super-God Masterforce.

Generation 2

Flamefeather
  • Sparkabots (1994)
    • Flamefeather
    • Sparkstalker
Released as European market exclusives, the Generation 2 Firecons were now named "Sparkabots" on the packaging and were redecoed in brightly-colored, transparent plastic. They also had redrawn card artwork which featured the characters in exactly the same pose as on their original toy packaging, but in a much simpler style. The characters' functions were also changed for this release: Sparkstalker was now a saboteur and Flamefeather was now a raid-planner. Each toy also had a new motto but lacked tech specs and profile.

Timelines

A redeco of Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Megatron, this convention exclusive version of Cindersaur was intended to complete the Firecon set from Generation 2 and accordingly has purple and green robot parts and a third translucent color.
