- Safeguard is a Nebulan from the TransTech continuity.
Safeguard is the codename of a Nebulan who, unlike most of his rather xenophobic people, is willing to work with Cybertronians.
Fiction
TransTech
After the Shroud wrecked interdimensional travel, the Transcendent Technomorphs of Axiom Nexus scrambled to find some way to restore their lost multiversal hegemony. Determining that Nebulos was the location where the walls between dimensions were thinnest between Nexus 208.0 Epsilon and foundational reality Primax 984.0 Gamma, the TransTechs made contact with "Safeguard", who agreed to assist TransTech agent Vector Prime in his mission. Safeguard was slated to undergo a hybrid Targetmaster/Powermaster conversion process in order to binary-bond with Vector Prime. In addition to prolonging Safeguard's lifespan for several centuries Ask Vector Prime, 1/11/2015 and granting him the ability to convert into a Nebulonian mini-fighter, the conversion would allow Vector Prime to refuel in Nebulos's tainted atmosphere.
