Simulcrum is Cybertronian technology from the Armada portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.

Simulcrum can best be described as a mix of videophone and hologram technology. A hologram of its users is created, which can be summoned wherever mobile beamer-devices of the system are located. The hologram then allows the user to experience and talk with the hologram's environment, but it does not allow the user physical contact. Since the humans who made use of Simulcrum wore special outfits, it may be possible the system is designed only for use by Cybertronians.
