2016 was the seventh year of the Transformers Hall of Fame. As with 2015, fans had the opportunity to vote in three categories: best character, best underrated character, and real-life musical act.
Nomination process
Between April 14th and April 20th, Transformers fan sites held individual polls to determine the nominees for the final ballot. Sites which participated included the AllSpark, TFW2005, ASMZine, TFormers, Cybertron.ca, Unicron.com, BWTF, and TFWiki.net. The voting to decide the final inductees was held via on the official Transformers Facebook page starting on March 29, though rather than a poll, people voted by commenting on the post and including hashtags:
