IDW Generation 1 continuity
Sunshine was one of many Autobots at Grindcore prison. He was executed with many other Autobot prisoners in a smelting chamber falsely claimed by the commandant to be a teleporting platform. Speak, Memory! (Part 2)

- Sunshine is a fan-made character, a red Autobot based on Drillbuster, of the artist of "Speak, Memory!", Hayato Sakamoto.
