The name or term "Ark" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Ark (disambiguation).
Ark-7 is an Autobot starship from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Ark-7 is one of a fleet of numbered Autobot ships designated Ark, named after the first legendary lost Ark. It is identical in outward appearance to Ark-27 and Ark-32.

Her crew includes:

Also on the Ark-7 is Prowl's "Team":

Fiction

IDW Generation 1 continuity

The Ark-7 was the ship chosen by Optimus Prime to go to Earth to search for Alpha Trion. Upon arriving at the planet, the ship was greeted by a volley of wall-burrowing missiles that the ship's deflectors couldn't defend against and a detection system that ghost shields were useless against. To continue the mission, Optimus Prime ordered Jetfire to set the ship in orbit of the far side of the moon (much to Jetfire's chagrin) and boarded Sky Lynx alongside Prowl, Sideswipe, Kup, Arcee, and Jaws Jazz with the intention of reaching the planet's surface through other means. Hello Cruel World While Prime's team was dealing with the EDC-Decepticon alliance on Earth, the Ark-7 was recovering from the missiles (which had turned into Microbots) on the far side of Earth's moon. Jetfire resolved to eradicate the Microbot infestation by spraying them with an aerosol form of the ship's liquid memory core, but found the rest of the infestation eliminated by Prowl's "team", the Constructicons. Detonation Boulevard

Prime's team returned to the Ark-7 in Sky Lynx after the EDC detonated the "Mind Bomb" to take down the Decepticons. While on the ship Prime and Prowl argued on the merits of the Constructicons merging to form Devastator until Jetfire interrupted to confirm that he had found out the location of Alpha Trion. This conversation was sent to the Decepticons by their double agent: Scavenger. The Mind Bomb

Prime and Alpha Trion disembarked from the Ark-7 in the Skyroller and went round to the far side of the moon, setting of alarms. The Crucible Following the revelations made there, Optimus left for Cybertron, once again in the Skyroller. It was their to pick up Sky Lynx and his team Signals, Calls, and Marches and Prowl and the Constructicons left soon after in him to pursue other objectives. Vs. It was also the location of an argument between Kup and Sideswipe ONoffON which led to them taking Sky Lynx down to stop Prowl. The Obiterati

After a particularly tiring mission, Cosmos returned to the Ark 7, collapsed on his recharge slab and snuggled up with D.0.C. South of Heaven
