The speedy Stepper (ステッパー Suteppā) is a racing rival of Sideswipe who prefers head-on assaults with his Nebulon Lancer weapon over Sideswipe's ninja-like tactics. Nevertheless the two speed-freaks aren't opposed to working together, battling Decepticons with combination attacks so fast their enemies can't even keep their eyes on them.
