The Apex is Commander Ginrai's ship, a magnificent Cybertronian flagship.

Wings Universe
Ginrai, constantly on the lookout for new threats to Cybertron, used the Apex to respond to a disturbance in Nebulan space, only to find that the disturbance was merely a spaceborne "fender-bender". - The Apex's is a reference to Apex Bomber, the North American re-release of Ginrai's drone Godbomber.
