2001 Robots in Disguise cartoon
Sky-Byte and his three Predacon cohorts attacked the CGA Tower during its grand opening, believing that the attack will bring them fame (or at least infamy). After damaging the tower's foundations, the quartet were approached by the Build Team, who pleaded with them not to harm the hostages. Taking hostages wasn't something which Sky-Byte had actually thought of, but he ran with the idea, demanding to speak to Optimus Prime. After demanding the Autobot leader turn over the O-Parts, Sky-Byte inadvertently destroyed the tower's last remaining support, forcing him, Gas Skunk, Slapper and Dark Scream to support the tower themselves, with the aid of Wedge.
They were stuck with the task of holding the tower upright until Optimus's eventual arrival, with Scourge in hot pursuit. Scourge attempted to threaten the tower itself, in an effort to make Optimus turn over the O-Parts, however the rest of the build team was able to protect the structure from Scourge's weapons. With the Decepticon driven off, the Build Team formed Landfill, and constructed a new foundation for the tower.
The CGA Tower was subsequently reopened to visitors. Sky-Byte Saves the Day
