Jetwash is an Autobot from the brick-built world of Kre-O.
Somewhere, Harmony Gold is getting a greed-chubby.

Jetwash looks a little strange.

Fiction

Kre-O online comic

After being asked to by Megatron, the Autobots attacked the Decepticon Base and chased away the overzealous guard Vortex. In thanks, Megatron hosted a gathering in the base, which Jetwash attended. A Reliable Warrior!? Vortex the Lookout from Hell

Toys

Kre-O

Add jetwax for $3.00.
  • Jetwash (Micro-Changer, 2014)
    • Bag number: 40551 53
    • Accessories: 2 buildable rifles
Jetwash can be rebuilt from robot mode into a jet. He sports Prowl's helmet and the Starscream wing-backpack. He also comes with 2 buildable guns, which is a combination of his jet tail fins & pistols.
Although the stock photos shows that the guns can be nudged down to the red parts, but it was rendered impossible in the final product. Several samples of Jetwash had balance problems with the legs's ball-joint holes, causing the figure to fall over if not placed on a display brick. However, very little samples had perfectly balanced leg parts. Good luck for finding them.
He was available in the fifth assortment of blind-bagged Kreon Micro-Changers, available only at ToysЯUs stores in the US and Canada.
  • Skyfire (Gacha Micro-Changer, 2015)
    • Accessories: 2 buildable rifles
The Jetwash Micro Changer Kreon is also released as a "TF Kreon Microchangers" Gacha toy by Takara Tomy, under the name Skyfire.

  • Kreon Class of 1985 (Kreon figure set, 2015)
    • Accessories: Bazooka
This version of Jetwash (now known as Jetfire), voted "The Brain" by the Kreon Class of 1985, features more toy-based tampographs than his prior version. He uses the Sideswipe helmet, missile-backpack, and the bazooka.
He was only available in a pack of 30 Kreons dubbed "Class of 1985". This set was made for sale at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, or Hasbro Toy Shop online.

Notes

  • Jetwash is a character based on Generation 1 Jetfire, given a new name for whatever reason. His appearance in the Kre-O comic predates the reveal of the new name and the toy.
  • Toy-Jetwash uses a chest tampograph based on the original Jetfire toy, but the leg deco is based on the "Skyfire" cartoon model.
  • In a decidedly unusual move, Jetwash in the Japanese Kre-O comic is not based on the actually-in-the-cartoon-that-aired-in-Japan "Skyfire" cartoon model. No, he's based on the didn't-appear-in-the-cartoon-and-never-sold-in-Japan-as-Jetfire-because-it's-from-major-competitor-Bandai original Jetfire toy. His parts in the comic are mostly concealed by his placement in the panel. However, he seems to use the ubiquitous Hound helmet and a similar wing construction to Thrust.
