Brainstorm used the device to determine the danger of handling Rodimus's apparent future corpse, and pegged the situation at "Uh-oh!" Despite this apparently being an acceptable level of risk, the Lost Light suddenly beginning to wink out of existence was not, and the warning system advocated that the crew run for their lives.
