- Grid Omega is a location in the Beast Wars portion of the Generation 1/Beast Era continuity family.
Grid Omega is a rather inhospitable area, containing as it does an impressive river of molten lava.
When Megatron created his first clone of Dinobot, the creature was sent into the Maximal base, where it masqueraded as the real thing. After claiming to have observed the Predacons preparing to mount an assualt from Grid Omega, the clone and Rattrap where sent there to gather more information. As Rattrap attempted to cross a fallen tree that formed a bridged high above the river of lava, the clone struck, knocking the tree out from under the Maximal in order to send him plunging to his doom.
