Toys
Robots in Disguise (2001)
- The Shark Spike was included as part of Robots in Disguise Sky-Byte, an extensive redeco of the Transmetal 2 Maximal Cybershark, forming his tail in beast mode and his left arm in robot mode. It has a gear system that in beast mode spins the fins like a propeller when a wheel in his side is turned. As Sky-Byte's left arm, the Shark Spike forms a spinning claw weapon.
- First available as part of the Car Robots line in Japan, Gelshark slightly paint differences between his Takara and Hasbro releases.
Generations
- Sky-Byte (Voyager, 2014)
- Series / Number: 02 / 007
- A new-mold toy released in wave 5 of the Voyager Class Thrilling 30 series of the Generations toyline, Sky-Byte once again includes a tail that forms his left arm. This time around, his (still gear-activated) spinning claw weapon has a single firing missile in the center.
- This mold was used by Cloud Hellwarp's Hellwinder.
Legends

- Gelshark (Voyager, 2014-12-27)
- ID number: LG06
- Accessories: 1 missile
- The Anchor Arm of Legends Gelshark featured slight paint differences.
Notes
- Sky-Byte's Hasbro toy bio refers to this weapon as the "Anchor Arm", its Japanese name.
- Likewise, at one point in Episode 20 of the Robots in Disguise cartoon, Sky-Byte refers to his Shark Spike as his "Anchor Arm". but like many other cases of misnamed attacks, this was an error on part of the English dub.
Foreign names
- Japanese: Anchor Arm (アンカーアーム Ankā Āmu).
