The Logicons exist in a state of logic and harmony on the planet Metascan Alpha.

Eons ago, the Logicons were part of a war to defeat the four Destructons. Once the Destructons had been contained, the Logicons imprisoned them in a dimensional barrier on a desolate world. Near the twin spires which controlled the barrier, they placed a warning beacon, containing information about the Destructons and the coordinates of Metascan Alpha.
After the Destructons were freed, the warning made its way to the Autobots. Ultra Magnus took a team to the planet described on the tape, only to find a rapidly evacuating city under attack by the Destructons. The War Against the Destructons, Chapter 1 of 3
