The "Maximals" run into trouble while retreating.
Synopsis
As the Autobots flee from the victorious Decepticons, Ultra Magnus orders the others to go on while he delays their pursuers. Unfortunately the others have hit a problem—as in a gaping chasm with a thin rock bridge across it. As the others head across the bridge, Magnus confronts Megatron on the bridge. The two enemies trade blows, and when Megatron addresses Magnus as "Autobot", Magnus issues a correction: apparently he's a Maximal now. Once the other Autobots reach the other side of the bridge, Magnus strikes the ground, shattering the bridge beneath him and his opponent.
Blasting Megatron with his Blue Bolts, Magnus rockets into the sky to rejoin the other Maximals, and they head back to the Graviton. The Decepticons, meanwhile, hike down to the bottom of the chasm and dig Megatron out of the pile of rocks that landed on him when he fell. Megatron suddenly cheers up immensely when he sees what he landed in front of—a giant Vok face carved into the rock.
Back in the Graviton, Depth Charge goes into exposition mode, explaining that he has come to this particular reality to find a power source to stop the great disaster tearing the Multiverse apart. Though Magnus mistakenly thinks that Matrix Depth Charge is after is the one from his universe, Depth Charge clarifies that he's after a different one.
