- Chela is a Titan from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Chela, the "Talon of Onyx Prime" was one of the Titans created by the legendary Knights of Cybertron to act as a living ship. Loyal to Onyx Prime and supremely distrustful of "standard-formers", Chela eventually colonized the untamed world of Eukaris to create a safe haven for beast mode Transformers.

- "Chela" is Latin for "claw". In modern parlance, it more specifically refers to the pincer of a crab.
