Doctor X (also rendered Dr. X) is a nefarious supervillain, enemy to multiple holders of the Action Man codename.

The current Doctor X is Mercy Gale, a rogue member of the Action Man Programme who seeks world peace by any means necessary.

According to Synergy, the previous Action Man "went bad", becoming Dr. X. The new Action Man was thus activated younger than intended. Unit:E

The Mercy Gale incarnation of Doctor X is an original character created for the 2016 IDW Action Man comic. Her unnamed predecessor is modeled mainly on the 1995 DIC cartoon version of the villain.
