"Transformers 7" is the planned seventh film in the live-action film series, and is currently expected to be released on June 28, 2019.[1] As with Transformers Universe: Bumblebee, the movie concept was developed by the writers room assembled in the lead up to Transformers: The Last Knight.[2]

- March 27, 2015 — Paramount Pictures negotiates with Akiva Goldsman, hiring him to create a "writer's room" with the intention of building a cinematic universe.[3] Goldsman goes on to hire a number of writers over the next few months: Steven DeKnight (Daredevil),[4] Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead),[5] Art Marcum and Matt Holloway (Iron Man),[5] Christina Hodson (Shut In, The Fugitive),[6] Lindsey Beer (Dig),[6] Zak Penn (Pacific Rim 2),[5] Jeff Pinkner (The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Lost),[5] Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari (Ant-Man),[7] Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down), and Geneva Robertson-Dworet.[8] Involved in the pitching process are Steven Spielberg, Michael Bay, Brian Goldner, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, and Don Murphy.[9]
