He isn't interested in very much outside of his experiments, and he'd really rather avoid any unanticipated variables affecting their outcome - such as, say, do-gooders insisting his tests of his latest explosive formula are somehow unethical. Ragebyte traveled to Earth to experiment with meshing Cybertronian technology with whatever he could find there to make bigger and better explosives. He found extruded polystyrene to be a useful additive, but before he could complete his bomb, he was caught by Windblade, who sealed him in a stasis pod. When the cache that contained his pod was threatened by a stricken aircraft, the Bee Team removed everything from it, and an incident during transport resulted in Ragebyte escaping.
