Items of note
- The third year of the magazine brings a lot of design changes, as well as the first big switch in the comic story.
- This is the first issue to have an actual cover! All the usual page 1 stuff moves to page 2, which now includes: a table of contents, "Brian's Bytes and Bolts", "From the Editor's Desk" (by Pete Sinclair), some credits, and a message for people who are moving. This exact layout remains unchanged for the remainder of the magazine's run, so just assume it's like that unless you read otherwise.
- "Micro-Sized" appears for the first time, a page of comics and Mini-Con profiles.
- The prologue to The Dark Heart of Sandokan is unique to this issue - the online story tells readers to check it out before reading.
- This issue's cover features the packaging art for club exclusives Airazor and Astrotrain by Dan Khanna and Chris Appel.
