"Kickback" is one of the many Cybertronians who have allied themselves with the "Old One," Alpha Trion.

Summoned by the return of Alpha Trion to his home universe, Kickback, Dirge, Perceptor, Sky Lynx, and the Technobots arrived in time to take his prisoners.
