Also, the instructions show the jet facing right in the "set includes" panel, and the text below says "Blackout and Spaceshot".  Someone might take that to mean Blackout is the back, since that's the side the word "Blackout" is under.  The panels for Retro/Surge, Pipeline/Gusher and Cementhead/Terror Tread have the vehicles facing left, avoiding this confusion, and Full-Barrel/Overflow have their names clearly shown in the very next panel.{{unsigned|24.102.11.3}}

"In most universes Spaceshot is male" - Spaceshot's only actual in-fiction appearance has her as female. Maybe notes like this should be "Spaceshot is either male or female depending on universe" for characters with few appearances? --[[User:Flicky1991|flicky]][[User talk:Flicky1991|1991]] 08:12, 21 August 2017 (EDT)

Possible reasons why Dreamwave got the names wrong:

The Hasbro Tech Specs from 1990 always listed the combiner pilots in order of front/back. For instance, read the Tech Spec Bio for the Rocket Transport, and it mentions Retro and Surge in that order because Retro was the front of the vehicle. The exeption being Spaceshot and Blackout. They're listed in reverse order.

Also, the instructions show the jet facing right in the "set includes" panel, and the text below says "Blackout and Spaceshot". Someone might take that to mean Blackout is the back, since that's the side the word "Blackout" is under. The panels for Retro/Surge, Pipeline/Gusher and Cementhead/Terror Tread have the vehicles facing left, avoiding this confusion, and Full-Barrel/Overflow have their names clearly shown in the very next panel.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.102.11.3 (talkcontribs){{#if:| {{{2}}}|}}.
