The Maxilla is the collective name for seven fortresses in and around the city-state of Yuss that defend the Yuss Naval Batteries. The Batteries are a key defensive measure for Iacon, preventing any unauthorized ships from traveling up the Great Rust Sea to the shores of Iacon itself. The seven forts of the Maxilla are:
