The Heavies are Transformers from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Known as the Heavies, the massive Hammer and Anvil are enforcers employed by the Senate (and ultimately the Functionist Council) to put unruly citizens in their place. It is a job they enjoy quite a lot.

When the Functionist Council, who at the time effectively controlled the Senate, learned that one of their Functionaries had given Whirl permission to quit the Aerial Corps and become a watchmaker, they dispatched the Heavies to destroy his workshop.
