When [[Zeta Prime]] unleashed his [[Guardian robot|Omega Destructors]] on the [[Nyon]] [[Acropolex]], [[Optimus Prime (G1)/IDW Generation 1 continuity|Orion Pax]] and his group of [[Autobot]]s attempted to ambush one of them in the [[Rust Narrows]]. After [[Hound (G1)/IDW Generation 1 continuity|Hound]] hit the Destructor with some graviton-mines, [[Ironhide (G1)/IDW Generation 1 continuity|Ironhide]] followed up with his [[Cyclone Launcher]], certain that nothing could survive that. Unfortunately, they were soon proved wrong when the Destructor was completely unharmed and the Autobots were forced to retreat. {{storylink|Purge}}
