The mysterious experimental Transformer code-named "The Infinite" represents the next evolution in the development of the Transformer race: composed of specially engineered sentio metallico, the young robot possesses the ability to assume millions of alternate modes.

The Infinite was designed by the Scorponok, the "Grand Architect" and his cadre of followers for unknown reasons. Chasing the Infinite For one reason or another, the Infinite wound up in a compound filled with coffins near Troja Major's Howling Tonwn, where it naturally disguised itself as a coffin. It remained there until Lug and Anode discovered it while tracking the smell of "unnatural" sentio metallico. The startled robot transformed to confront them, but collapsed from exhaustion, being little more than a week old; having attracted the attention of the Black Block Consortia, the aliens opened fire on the robot and killed it. Shortly afterwards, Anode, Lug, and Wipe-Out returned to the scene of the murder and recovered a piece of its metal, discovering the unusual properties of the robot. The Infinite, meanwhile, had been recovered by Flame and his team, who were pleased to learn that its adaptive metal made it able to recover from its fatal wounds. Chasing the Infinite
