Takara also added an original character in the form of Shadow Panther. Nearly all of the members of the Axalon and Darksyde crews would receive running changes in their decoes (All but Megatron and Convoy), or special promotional releases with an updated deco (Convoy). These decoes showed up both in the individually packed figures as well as the VS packs. Other show characters started out with more show accurate decoes than their US counterparts. The Beast Wars toyline (and its sequels) would see the regular production of Lucky Draw figures and store exclusives, a trend that continues today.
