- Ghostrider is a human from the Generation 1 continuity family.
This character or person needs some sort of visual representation. If you have one, please replace this.
Ghostrider takes the concept of "stealth" to a new extreme. Since childhood, he has honed the skills necessary for not being noticed by who he doesn't want to be noticed by. Even other members of G.I. Joe have trouble remembering his code-name. That's how dedicated Ghost... emm... err... That how dedicated this stealth-fighter pilot is to his craft!

- The guy we mentioned earlier... when he appears, his file card is obscured by the action, so only "Ghost" is visible. His name being obscured is a running joke in Joe lore. Although his toy could be sold under the name without difficulty, the existence of the far more visible Marvel superhero of the same name meant it posed a problem when it came time for the character to appear in the Marvel G.I. Joe comic. Writer Larry Hama solved the issue by making a running joke that no characters could ever remember this character's name—a "logical" extension of the man's skill at "not being noticed."
