Is it certain that the Power of the Primes toy is a new figure?  The picture looks a lot like a redeco of Slug's Power of the Primes figure.  Sludge also seems to have the same gun as Slug, which is typically an indication that a figure is a redeco. :The term you're looking for is re''tool'', not redeco (a redeco simply changes the colour scheme), but yes, they definitely do seem to share parts. [[User:Jalaguy|Jalaguy]] ([[User talk:Jalaguy|talk]]) 14:55, 22 December 2017 (EST)

To add onto the non-existant-dino bit, he would actually be an Apatosaurus. -- Hunter-113 15:58, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

Not really worth signing up to add this little note: Brontosaurus does not not exist. The name is synonomous to Apatosaurus taxanomically. It's explained pretty well on the wikipedia entry for Apatosaurus. Helpfully linked to from this very page! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 202.74.216.208 (talkcontribs) 08:18, 8 May 2009 EDT.
Sludge has a brontosaurus head. He doesn't have an an apatosaurus head. He's a brontosaurus—a non-existent dino. Blame Spike if you have to, but we would be lying if we called him an apatosaurus. - Starfield 10:19, 8 May 2009 (EDT)
Actually, it's an Apatosaurus head. Elongated. The Brontosaurus head was a Camarasaurus skull, much stumpier. And this issue is thrown into a whole new whirligig when you consider they're considering reclassifying Apatosaurus into two separate genus based on some differences in structure...which could mean we'll end up with Apatosaurus, and the original Brontosaurus skeleton, which got renamed as Apatosaurus, being turned back into Brontosaurus...oi. Maybe it is an apatosaurus head, but I think he holds it more upright than an apatosaurus. Surprisingly, it doesn't say what kind of dinosaur he is on his box, instructions, bio, universe profile, or in his Marvel introduction. He is called a "brontosaurus" in the cartoon episode S.O.S. Dinobots. - Starfield 00:07, 5 September 2009 (EDT)

Power of the Primes

Is it certain that the Power of the Primes toy is a new figure? The picture looks a lot like a redeco of Slug's Power of the Primes figure. Sludge also seems to have the same gun as Slug, which is typically an indication that a figure is a redeco. Battlemaster (talk) 14:06, 22 December 2017 (EST)

The term you're looking for is retool, not redeco (a redeco simply changes the colour scheme), but yes, they definitely do seem to share parts. Jalaguy (talk) 14:55, 22 December 2017 (EST)
