| This article is about the Prime Arms Micron. For the Masterforce human, see Dado (Masterforce). |
- Dado is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Aligned continuity family.
Dado (ダド) is an Arms Micron. He is really neat.
Toys
Prime
- Dado 1 / Dado 2 (Micron, 2012)
- Energon Crystal: AP Shine
- Part of the second assortment of Gacha Arms Microns appearing around August of 2012, Dado transforms from a robotic snapping turtle into a shield. He has multiple 5mm posts and holes as part of the line-wide Arms Micron gimmick, allowing him to be combined with other Microns to make larger and more ridiculous weapons.
- Dado comes in two different colorations. Unlike the prior Decepticon Gacha Microns, Dado has two colors of plastic per type... "1" has a yellow shell with grey limbs and head, while "2" has a grey shell with yellow limbs and head. So yeah, two colors of a single-sprue figure with some parts swapping, as some fans have done with Gob and Zad.
- Dado TC (Gacha Arms Micron, March 2013)
- ID number: 12
- Energon Crystal: AP Shine
- At the very tail-end of Prime, all twelve Gacha molds were re-released all in one go as a "Special Edition" wave through the capsule machines. The Decepticons were cast in clear-purple "Dark Energon Terrorcon Form!" versions (though they retained their paint operations and Crystal colors).
Notes
- Dado was originally advertised under the working name "Wanigame", which is the Japanese name for the alligator snapping turtle.
- Dado comes from the Japanese spelling of "turtle", タートル (tātoru), with the usual dropping of vowel extenders and addition of accents.
