The military transport is a Decepticon Micromaster vehicle from the toyline portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

On his own, Roughstuff is fast but ground-bound. With his military transport trailer, however, he can take to the skies. The transport converts from a towed trailer with proton missiles to an open-top fighter jet that Roughstuff can pilot up to suborbital heights. In jet mode, the trailer retains the use of its missiles and adds a pair of plasma pulse guns to its arsenal.

Generation 1

  • Roughstuff (Micromaster Transport, 1989)
    • Accessories: Missile turret, 2 missiles
Roughstuff was sold carded with his trailer. In jet mode, the transport has an open seat that Roughstuff can sit in. A "control bar" (resembling the safety bar on a carnival ride) keeps him from flying out. The "missile turret" must be physically removed and relocated when converting the trailer from one mode to the other.
This toy was sold in Japan without changes as the Autobot Missile Bull's "Micro TF DX" vehicle.
