Solid Snake (ソリッド・スネーク Soriddo Sunēku) is the ultimate one-man commando. Well, one of them. A product of the Les Enfants Terribles project, Snake was a clone of world renowned soldier Big Boss, along with his brothers Liquid Snake and Solidus Snake. Initially a Green Beret, Snake was later inducted into High-Tech Special Forces Unit FOXHOUND in the mid 1990s while it was commanded by Big Boss. - In Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Snake goes by the code name "Old Snake". Spoiler alert: Cobra has a Metal Gear.
- "Not All Megatrons" sees oddball-gamer Bisk eluding detection by hiding under a metal crate pulled out of subspace, in a homage to Snake's preferred infiltration tactic.
