The Fateweaver are a group from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Fateweavers are a mysterious group of Transformers native to the colony world Eukaris. Few in number but treated with a certain reverence by the other four tribes, the Fateweavers stand out from other Eukarians for their unusual mental talents. Some seem to possess a degree of precognitive abilities, while others are gifted in the arts of mnemosurgery.

Known Fateweavers include Blackarachnia and Airachnid.

IDW Generation 1 continuity

Airachnid grew dissatisfied with the Fateweavers merely glancing into their visitors' minds, and sought a more scientific approach to understanding their power. Capturing several Fur Walkers, she used mnemosurgery to thoroughly examine their brain modules in the hopes of being able to view more variables and in turn more accurately predict the future. This had the unfortunate side effect of killing her test subjects, though, and the other Fateweavers exiled her. The Price of You

Notes

  • The Fateweavers are incorrectly referred to as "Fate Spinners" in Till All Are One #10. This was corrected for the trade paperback.
