The Autobots and Decepticons battle over the Space Bridge, only to be attacked by Starscream's Clone Army, who want it all for themselves!
Synopsis
[edit]Before the nearly completed Space Bridge, Optimus Prime and Megatron once again clash melee weapons.
Elsewhere, Blitzwing and Lugnut attempt to chase down the speedy Blurr and Bumblebee. The pair of Autobot speedsters prove too much for the Decepticons, as Blurr runs circles around Blitzwing, causing his spinning heads to malfunction in their attempt to keep up with him, while Bumblebee toys with Lugnut. Lugnut attempts to strike them down with his Punch of Kill Everything, only to have a pair of stasis cuffs slapped on him before he knows what's what. The pair slap some cuffs on Blitzwing as well, paralyzing both Decepticons. Mission accomplished, Blurr and Bumblebee proceed to skip away, whistling.
Back closer to the Space Bridge, Mixmaster attempts to intervene and gets kicked square in the oilgut by Optimus. Optimus and Megatron are about to resume their battle when Starscream and his Clone Army arrive. Starscream declares his intention to seize the Space Bridge and orders his clones to attack Optimus and Megatron, announcing that the universe now belongs to him.
Much to Starscream's surprise, Megatron and Optimus proceed to fight back to back against the clones, taking them down with ease. Slipstream gets a clear shot at Megatron, but the Decepticon Leader sees it coming, grabs Optimus by the skull and pulls him in front of the shot, injuring him severely. Megatron then informs all within earshot to etch the following into their memories: The universe belongs to him.
Elsewhere, Ratchet and Sari speed along in ship-mode Omega Supreme, begging their comrades to hold out long enough for them to reach the conflict.
