This staff gives him +1 against all Undead.

The Void Scepter is a scepter, usually carried by unpleasant sorts as they go about making people's lives miserable. Known as "the scepter of all voids", its scope of powers includes the ability to command and control certain Cybertronians. It can also be used for stabbing and / or removing faces.

Sometimes it's also known as the Command Staff.

Fiction

Live-action film series continuity family

The Fallen carried a Void Scepter, which he used during the battle over the Star Harvester. At the conclusion of his fight with Optimus Prime, the Fallen's weapon was turned against its master and used to impale him, then rip off his faceplate. Revenge of the Fallen

IDW Generation 1 continuity

According to legends, the death god Mortilus carried a Void Scepter, which he used to summon and control Trypticon.

In modern times, Bludgeon fashioned a Void Scepter of his own, inspired and guided by the legends, so that he could control Trypticon for himself. This worked, until it was shattered by Sandstorm, releasing the ancient Cybertronian from Bludgeon's grasp. Salvation

The Scepter was eventually repaired or replaced. A heavily damaged Bludgeon used it to goad Slug into attacking his fellow Dinobots, Sandstorm and Centurion, preparing Cybertron for the return of his "master". The Dead Come Home, Part 1 Bumblebee informed Starscream of what Bludgeon was doing, prompting the Chancellor to shatter the Scepter, freeing Slug. The Dead Come Home, Part 2

Toys

Transformers (2010)

  • The Fallen (Voyager, 2010)
    • Accessories: Staff
The Command Staff is included with Transformers Voyager Class The Fallen, whose hands have been remolded to allow him to wield it. It folds in half and pegs underneath the toy in vehicle mode.

Notes

  • The Void Scepter went unnamed in its initial appearance in Revenge of the Fallen. At first it was identified as a "command staff", with the other name coming from the Fallen's Hasbro.com bio. It wasn't until IDW comics' The Transformers: Salvation that the scepter as an item was really fleshed out in any fashion.
