Multipath adventures such as the "Choose Your Own Adventure" series were very popular during the 1980s, and several licensed Transformers multipath adventures were published as part of the Find Your Fate Junior and The Transformers Adventure Game Books series. They returned during the Animated franchise with the Be the Hero series. They are usually written in second-person, using the pronoun "You" to refer to the protagonist.
