The speedway itself fell early on in the war to a series of Decepticon strikes, which levelled it. However, they were ultimately driven off by the Autobots, one of the first Autobot victories in the war.
Many years later, Jazz claimed that the surface of Velocitron proper reminded him of the Hydrax Speedway, albeit on a grand planetary scale. Exiles
