The Decepticons were always much on vanity, and the gigantic Destron Mark (デストロンマーク Desutoron Māku), an offensive weapon shaped like the Decepticon insignia itself, proves that in spades.

Transformers: Mystery of Convoy
Once Ultra Magnus found his way through the labyrinthine Time Tunnel, he encountered the Destron Mark. Undeterred by the smaller attacking units it sent out, Magnus shot the forehead crest to defeat the insignia.
Magnus later entered the Time Tunnel again and found another Destron Mark, which he also defeated.
Later, again, Ultra Magnus reentered the Time Tunnel and destroyed another Destron Mark. Transformers: Mystery of Convoy
