Infinitus is an Autobot Titan Master from the Generation 1 continuity family.
I know heads, okay? I have the best heads.

Infinitus is a Titan Master partnered with Sentinel Prime who can power up his larger partner by forming his head. His ability to slow time allows Sentinel to strike with precision on the battlefield even during an intense battle.

Fiction

Titans Return marketing material

When Scourge and Crashbash attacked Velocitron during the planet's biggest race, Infinitus, as Sentinel Prime's head, fought alongside Hardhead and Optimus Prime to repulse the invaders, defending Hyperfire from Decepticon abduction. Titans Return: The Power of the Titan Masters

In the IDW continuity, "Sentinel Prime" and Infinitus are the same individual.

The Titan Master Infinitus was ancient; millions of years ago, he served Nexus Prime during the age of the Thirteen Tribes. To this end, he took on the identity of "Sentinel Prime", using his Titan Master abilities to puppeteer a large body that allowed him to pass as a normal Cybertronian. Although Infinitus attempted to thwart Megatron's rise to power during the earliest days of the Great War, he was defeated by the revolutionary leader, and Sentinel Prime was assumed dead. Infinitus secretly abandoned his ruined body and started building a new one beneath Kaon, intermittently slipping in and out of hibernation as he subconsciously attuned himself to the Titans.

Millions of years later he was properly awoken by a broadcast from Metrotitan. Viewing the greatly changed post-war Cybertron, he was disgusted by the sight of Autobots working together with Decepticons and colonists from the Titan worlds, signs of "degeneracy" that he could not abide. Infinitus donned the mantle of Sentinel Prime once more, vowing to take up arms and burn down everything that his successor Optimus Prime had built up.

Generations

I turn into a FAAACE.
  • Autobot Infinitus & Sentinel Prime (Voyager Class, 2016)
"Autobot Infinitus" (the 'Autobot' prefix presumably added for trademark reasons) was packaged with his partner Sentinel Prime as part of the first wave of Titans Return. He can transform into the larger robot's head, or that of any other Titans Return Deluxe, Voyager, or Leader Class toy. Infinitus's robot and head modes are both based directly on Alex Milne's Sentinel Prime design from Megatron Origin.
Infinitus's mold was also used for Darkmoon and the Headmaster stages of both Legends Convobat and Leo Prime, and he would've been redecoed as "Action Master" Optimus Prime's Titan Master for the BotCon 2017 "Action on Hydrus Four" set that never came to be.

  • Titan Force (gift set, 2016)
Infinitus, now in translucent orange, was again packaged with his partner Sentinel Prime in a gift set together with Titan Force redecoes of Brainstorm and Windblade. The upper portion of Infinitus's legs has been installed backwards on this version, but it is highly inadvisable to attempt to fix them, given the tiny size of the parts and the less forgiving nature of the transparent plastic.

Notes

  • Unlike the other Titan Masters, the Hasbro product description copy given to retail sites for Infinitus differs from what is on the toy package. It lists his Titan Master power as a near-impenetrable force field instead of time manipulation. The Trypticon's Titan Master Crunch poster went with a variant of this power, temporary invincibility, rather than matching the packaging.
