- Scattergun is an Autobot from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.
Some Transformers can live out their entire lives without ever meeting someone to be their Conjunx Endura. In that respect, at least, Scattergun was luckier than most.

According to Hoist, who considered Scattergun a friend, Scattergun was warborn and constructed cold. Like a lot of Autobots of his era, Scattergun was a Made to Order soldier (an M.T.O.) specifically designed to fight for the Fourth Vorsk Offensive military campaign. Twenty Plus One
Scattergun was Chromedome's Conjunx Endura. When he died, Chromedome found the grief too painful to bear and, against Brainstorm's advice, used his mnemosurgery skills on himself to remove any memory of Scattergun. The Gloaming
