Ore-2 is a variety of energon grown on Gorlam Prime. A product of Shockwave's Regenesis program, the ore is also known as "death" (or "extermination"), and causes a localized decaying effect that drains anything it comes into contact with of life.

Dark Dawn Sent to be a distraction from Shockwave's true plans, the Titan unleashed a wave of energy at Iacon, those struck by the Ore-2 energy experiencing necrotic symptoms.
