Fiction

2005 IDW continuity

The Terradorian Imperial Guard, led by Drax himself, tracked a group of Ammonites to the planet Hedonia. Landing in their warcruiser, they found themselves confronted by the Autobot Whirl who promptly killed Imperius Drax. The new leader was determined to win at all costs, to the extent of reaching out to the Dark Cyclops and risking their very homeworld; the Ammonites responded by calling in all their forces for a massed assault. Nice one, Whirl! Little Victories

Ask Vector Prime

Vector Prime once encountered Imperius Argus, a Terradore leader who had accidentally been transported to Axiom Nexus. Vector Prime noted that he seemed a noble Spark. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/11/29

Notes

  • They are known to the galaxy at large as the Heroic Terradores, meaning that in addition to his already patchy track record during the Transformers' own war, Whirl is also responsible for killing their equivalent of Optimus Prime.
  • Despite reaching out to the 'Dark Cyclops', we see the Ammonites as Shockwave's allies in Dark Cybertron. Perhaps they just made the better offer.
