Thomas Edison was an inventor famous for developing many important and useful devices. Even if he wasn't always the one behind them.

[edit]In 1888, inventor Tobias Muldoon came to Edison's offices asking for a way to generate one million watts of electricity in an instant. Edison, who had heard rumours that Muldoon was strange, was outraged by his obviously impossible request and threw him out. Luckily Muldoon managed to get help from Nikola Tesla, one of Edison's hired inventors who had tired of him taking the credit for other people's work. Infestation 2: The Transformers #1
"Strange Visitors" establishes that events identical to those of Hearts of Steel and Infestation 2 occur in the 2005 IDW continuity; however, they happened to Maximal explorers brainwashed by Shockwave into believing they were the Autobots and Decepticons of the Great War.
