- Hot Rod's shuttle is a stolen Tyroxian starship from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Badly-armed and under-powered, Hot Rod's shuttle is a poor choice of ship for an escape from a hostile region of space.

Hot Rod's shuttle appeared exclusively in the UK portion of the Marvel Comics continuity.
Hot Rod and Blurr were on a scouting mission for Fortress Maximus when they ran afoul of the Tyroxians. Hot Rod managed to escape in a shuttle, but it was seriously outclassed by the two Tyroxian space transports they sent after him. Fortunately for the young Autobot, Kup was nearby in his ship and he overcame his combat fatigue to shoot down the two larger craft. At this point, Hot Rod's shuttle began to break up so Kup beamed him aboard. Kup's Story!
